SUMMARY:CONGRESS AND DEFENSE FUNDING – PART 3 “The End Game: House-Senate Conference Consideration and Enactment into Law”
DESCRIPTION:Webinar Registration – Zoom (zoomgov.com) \nDear NAC Members\, \nPlease join us as NAC consultants Greg Lankler\, BG Wright\, and Stephanie Halcrow present Part 3 of the NAC’s continuing webinar series on Congress and Defense Funding.  Greg\, BG\, and Stephanie have decades of combined service as professional staff in the U.S. Congress on both the House and Senate Appropriations Committee and the House Armed Services Committee.  Their shared insight into the often-opaque process of defense authorizations and appropriations provides each NAC Member with the opportunity to be involved in the process as an advocate for your programs and your company. \nIf you have any questions regarding registration for either event\, please contact me or ATI’s Rapid Response Team at naccmf@nacconsortium.org or 843-760-3481.

SUMMARY:Energetic Materials Technology Working Group-US
DESCRIPTION:The Energetic Materials Technology Working Group (EMTWG) was formed in 2023 as the successor to the Insensitive Munitions Technology Symposium (IMTS) and Insensitive Munitions and Energetic Materials Technology Symposium (IMEMTS). Initial meetings among the joint services in the United States and several European nations occurred in the late 1980s and became the forerunner to the organization of an Insensitive Munitions Technology event. As a result of DoD encouragement\, the American Defense Preparedness Association organized the first IMTS event in 1990. In March 1995\, the first edition of NATO Standardization Agreement 4439 was released\, which established the policy for the development\, assessment\, and testing of Insensitive Munitions. \nIn 1997\, IMTS first rebranded to the Insensitive Munitions and Energetic Materials (IMEM) Technology Symposium\, which remained until 2023. The 2023 rebranding is to signify the inclusion of technologies within the Energetic Materials community and demonstrate dedication to the future of munitions safety and operational effectiveness. The purpose of our working group meeting is to prepare advanced energetic materials & insensitive munitions for high-intensity warfare. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEMTWG-US will be held to be able to support up to a Classified level of papers/presentations and is open to US government and contractors who have an active Classified Security Clearance \nSTAY INFORMED
