Dear NAC Members,
In August, the National Armaments Consortium reached a major milestone, as we joined with our partners at DOTC and CC-NJ to unveil the details of a new DOTC process and path forward. On October 31, BIDS opened for the government to submit new prototyping requirements for DOTC!
We couldn’t be more excited about this effort and believe that it will open up significant new opportunities for our government customers and NAC members to develop rapid and effective prototypes that meet the needs of our warfighters.
If you weren’t able to attend the virtual Town Hall meeting with the government, the presentation is posted on our Events Page on our public website (https://www.nacconsortium.org/upcoming-events/). The Q&A from the Town Hall is posted on our Member’s Only website on the Events Page. Member training webinars will held for more in-depth training and Q&A on December 10th and 15th. You can register to attend by following the hyperlinks for each date.
FY20 was a very good year for the NAC and its Members! We had 201 new awards through our DOTC and AMTC programs. This represents a strong commitment to excellence from our members, our government partners, and our consortium management firm ATI. One Team, One Fight. Thank you for all you do in support of our Warfighters.
Our community was devastated with the recent and tragic loss of Bill Morelli, President and Co-Owner of SAVIT Corporation. Bill was a great patriot and champion for the NAC, for Picatinny Arsenal, for research and development and for his SAVIT family. Through his passion and leadership, SAVIT Corporation has led over 150 NAC/DOTC prototyping projects. We extend our thoughts and prayers to all who knew him. He left an indelible mark on our community and we are all better for it. God Speed.
