Dr. Paritosh Dave

Dr. Paritosh R. Dave is a Sr. Program Manager for Energetics Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) within the Defense group of Leidos, responsible for contract execution, strategic planning, program management, business development and capture, risk management and compliance, resource allocation and monitoring, and management of personnel at Picatinny Arsenal and other Leidos locations. He has been executing and managing RDT&E programs onsite at Picatinny Arsenal continuously for the past 34 years. Dr. Dave’s research experience includes design and synthesis of novel energetic materials, scale-up and transition of laboratory discovery routes to multi-kilogram level processes with emphasis on environmentally benign processes, and development of alternate processes for the preparation of new and existing materials.  He has coauthored forty-nine scientific publications in peer reviewed journals and has twenty-six issued patents. He obtained his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the City University of New York, NY, and carried out post-doctoral research at the University of North Texas, Denton, TX. He is a member of the Critical Energetic Materials Working Group, a DoD-led effort chartered by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to analyze and address supply chain issues for critical chemicals, and a member of the Energetic Materials Technical Working Group (EMTWG) supporting the planning of the recurring EMTWG meeting (previously known as the Insensitive Munitions and Energetic Materials Technology Symposium).
