Dr. David Robinson

Dr. David Robinson, CEO of Corvid Technologies and Corvid Cyberdefense, received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University with Minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. Prior to founding Corvid, Dr. Robinson worked at the Weapons Effectiveness and Lethality Branch of the Naval Surface Warfare Center in the Computational Physics Group. He was also involved in several research projects for NASA-Langley Research Center, and has been a part of several technical publications in his field.

Since founding Corvid in 2004, Dr. Robinson has grown the company to 240 of some of the top scientists and engineers in the field. Corvid began with an initial focus of developing and applying high-fidelity computational physics (HFCP) solvers to investigate high-rate physics phenomena across a broad spectrum of problems for the Department of Defense. Since 2004, the company has expanded rapidly from its core of HFCP to providing design/development, optimization, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing across a wide range of DoD systems. Corvid’s customers include the Missile Defense Agency, Special Operations Command, Strategic Capabilities Office, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, OSD, General Motors, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrup Grumman, and Raytheon amongst others.
