Wendy Hummers

Mrs. Wendy Hummers is a Director of Business Development for the Fuzes and Warheads Group at Northrop Grumman.  Wendy is responsible for expanding the fuze and warhead portfolio system for developmental programs. 

Prior to Northrop Grumman, Wendy was a Director of Business Development for Hanwha USA and a Program Director prior to that at Elbit America.  In addition, Wendy was the Director of DoD Programs at National Technical Systems (NTS). She transitioned to NTS after 17.5 years of experience with the US Army. While at the US Army, she spent her first years as a chemical engineer with the Explosive Research and Development Division. One of her most prominent programs during this time was the Novel Energetics Science Technology Objective where she was responsible for developing new energetic formulations for novel warheads. Following that she was a branch chief for the Explosives Research Branch. Her branch was responsible for the STAR ATO as well as many JIMTP programs, PEO IM programs, and more. Her last two years was spent with PM CAS in the CAD division with responsibilities for several mortars and artillery rounds. Wendy developed and served as the TPOC on many DOTC efforts as well as traditional contracts.

Wendy is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She also earned a Masters of Business Administration from Florida Tech. She currently resides in New Jersey.
