Reimagining NAC’s Digital Footprint

The National Armaments Consortium (NAC) continues to be a critical partner within the national defense community. As the Nation’s oldest OTA consortium, the NAC’s mission remains focused on fostering collaboration across industry, government, and academia to develop cutting-edge armaments capabilities for our warfighters.

We are immensely proud of the work that our 1,070+ member organizations have performed to deliver over-the-horizon capabilities to ensure our Warfighters have an unfair advantage over any adversary.

As the battlefield domains continue to evolve, so too must our organization. So today, the National Armaments Consortium is unveiling a digital refresh which includes updated branding, a new website, and a new tagline that reflects the mission of our organization: Collaborate. Innovate. Dominate.

In a world marked by emerging international threats, the defense technology landscape is transforming at an unprecedented pace. Through the Department of Defense Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC), the Aviation and Missile Technology Consortium (AMTC), and the Naval Energetic Systems and Technologies (NEST) programs, our members use Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) to streamline, modernize and accelerate the development of new technologies – positioning us to help address the latest threats today and over the horizon.

So how do we do it? We:

Collaborate: We are proud to be one of the largest collaborative organizations working with the DoD to develop armament technologies in support of our nation’s security. At NAC collaboration events, members are able to meet with government, academia, and other industry leaders to share their expertise, technology capabilities, and explore how they can address the needs of the government customer.

The collaboration we enable informs better requirements, streamlines the acquisition process, and delivers prototype technologies to our warfighters at the speed of the need.

Innovate – The consortia-based OTA model encourages non-traditional vendors to collaborate with traditional vendors and government, streamlining and accelerating the prototyping process. With 1070+ member companies working to advance defense technology solutions, we facilitate development to acquisition with speed and flexibility.

Dominate: Above all, NAC members are patriots. We are committed to providing our warfighters with emerging capabilities necessary to respond to global security threats.

As we deliver on our organization’s mission, we are proud to do so with an updated digital presence that reflects this innovative work.
